Desde 1990, quando foi fundado, o Projeto Golfinho Rotador, realiza anualmente campeonatos de surf em Fernando de Noronha. At\u00e9 2019, as competi\u00e7\u00f5es aconteciam durante a temporada de ondas na ilha, que vai de janeiro a mar\u00e7o. Com a pandemia do novo coronav\u00edrus, o evento passou a ser realizado de forma on-line.<\/p>

O 2\u00b0 Campeonato On-line de surf Golfinho Rotador aconteceu no per\u00edodo de 26 de julho a 06 de agosto de 2021, organizado pelo Projeto Golfinho Rotador, que conta com o patroc\u00ednio oficial da Petrobras por meio do Programa Petrobras Socioambiental.
Melyna Lyra, respons\u00e1vel pela organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do evento, apresentou os resultados.
